Default Need help identifying this.

This little piece(in picture). I can't figure out what is for or where the wires run to. Some wires look to be tapped and also seen an inline fuse. Any help is greatly appreciated.

looks like a security light, just put in the wrong spot. there is not one on my truck. i could be wrong tho

It has a small button on the bottom of it. It almost looks like an aftermarket alarm. I'll also add this is on an 03 supercrew xlt

some type of after-market anti-theft device.
I have a light on mine too, but it is in the dash itself. Not sure of the brand, but was installed by the dealer when my cousin bought it. Mine is setup so that the truck can only be started for 1 minute after unlocked with the key, keypad or remote. After 1 minute, the ignition circuit is cut and will not work till unlocked again.

You can see my light in this pic to the left of the steering wheel.



I also have a little black button under the dash somewhere that bypasses it (stupid IMO, lets put a safety on here then put the bypass right next to it).

That's probably what it is I just hadn't seen one on anyone else's photos. Thanks for the help.
