Hi I have a 98 150 4.6 4x4 my problem is that I have installed 2-300 amp alternators to run my 6500 watt inverter.The inverter takes 542.0 amps at full load to run this baby I need to rev the truck up to about 1300 rpms I have done this mod on my 6.0 diesel f350 and it works great but the rpms have to be up for it to charge corectly does any one know how to high rev a 4.6 on comand

my edge evolution progeammer has a setting where you can change your idle speed but it would always be at that speed, even with normal driving

yeah my laptop does the same thing with shop veiw is there a way to trick the idle air control valve so I only high rev when I need it like the diesels or the gas super duty a switch would be ideal. or am i better to add a solenoid to bump the throtle open a little on the throttle body

I wonder if there is a possibility you can override the cruise control so it works similar to a "pto mode"? I'm assuming you only need this while stationary? If so why not use an adjustable prop rod you can wedge between the gas pedal and seat? I know it sounds kinda redneck but its simple, cheap and easy.
