Here are my goals:

12-14 psi + 10:1 CR (Static) + E85= Lots of broken ****

That is exactly what I calculated. I wouldn't mind it to be a bit lower in case I want to run 15-18 psi during a dyno session.

I started window shopping today if that counts.. So far around $3500 just in parts before exploring SC option for the 4V. Now I just need time off to ge tthe block torn down to see how outta whack the cylinder are.

Hopefully your heads arent too bad. I would dread buying cams for that thing. However, I do agree that Im not a huge fan of cammed modular engines. Any estimates on power numbers?

If I had to guess I'm going to say the 500/500 area with low boost. maybe push 550/550. I dont want to have to run low impedance injector, because the means standalone fuel system..

e85 would require 72lb/hr injectors @ 550 RWHP So that puts me right under the bubble of having to go low impedance..

What are low impedance injectors? Difference from those and normal ones?

Ford PCM's use PWM to fire injectors. The impedance of the coil inside the injector itself has a specific rating to flow the flow charts in the PCM. If the impedance rating doesnt match you can severely overfuel or under fuel a cylinder with the wrong injector.

BTW, FMS makes the injectors I would need @ $600 set.. Ouch.. Maybe time to setup for pump fuel..
