Thats the plan. Going with an aeromotive fuel regulator as well.

Wondering if I should upgrade oil pump or not. I won't be running relaly high RPMs (okay maybe a few times), but I think it may be worth the investment.

Yes. Go with a forged unit from mmr.

I'm excited to start getting these parts in the mail. Gonna be nice to have the power to smoke some 35's with a 3k trailer behind ya. Not that its gonna happen often, just looking forward to the upgrade. Alyssa has came through in the clutch with some hard to find parts !!!

Working on a parts list with the wonderful ibdalyssa
Already purchased: (This is for the truck). Other parts are for side project.
Oliver 4340 material stock rod 6.657 stroke
Oliver 5.572 bore (.020 over) with steel rings
Clevite mains and pistons bearings
Block .020 over bore, honed, decked .003, and cleaned.
Stock lightning manifold, midplate, 10row Air to water

This makes my deck change from 10.080 to 10.077"
Deck clearance is now changed from .120" to .117" (will be the factory cleance with the MLS fel-pro gasket)
Bore 3.572

Need to buy list:Please free to post up links to parts.
Thrust bearings
Fel-Pro MLS headgaskets (high performance)
ARP head studs (not sure I even need the studs)
Block to oil filter adapter gasket
Valve cover gasket and ring seals
Rear main seal
Front seal + crankshaft oil slinger.
timing cover gaskets
Timing kit (chains, guides, METAL TENSIONERS (not the plastic)). Also need the gasket for the Tensioers to bolt up to the heads/block.
SS brake lines (help with brake booster)
Vent to atmosphere PCV kit
New front brakes
Wideband MAF
SCT Tuner
Accufab or other 90mm+ throttle body

This might be a little long. so I'll start with some of what I experienced when I did my buget rebuild. Since you are going boosted go with Cometic/Motorcraft Headgaskets. The felpro will not handle boost very well. I would go with ARP head bolts. Studs are not needed. As far as thrust bearing goes stick with a motorcraft, and send it to the machine shop at the same time as the other bearings so the clearence can be accurately checked with the crank. The oil filter adapter gasket is about $12 form Ford. The felpro version doesnt seem to seal worth a crap. I got a rear main from NAPA. It was a National brand seal, seems to hold up much better than the felpro version. If in doubt stick with motorcraft on seals and gaskets(all). The Felpro valve cover gasket set isnt much cheaper than buying motorcraft gaskets. Rock Auto is your friend for OE gaskets since time is your friend. Nbody that I know of makes a metal timing chain tensior/guide. Stick with OE guides and Chains. They will last the longest. Do not run a open vent PCV you will run into massive tuning issues. Stick to a dual inlet.dual out let catch can.

Now as far as the MAF is concerned, just buy a SCT BA2800. If I recall it is blow-thru compatible and will make things much simpler when it comes to tuning.

Now on a side note. You may have convinced me to build my version of what the Eco-Boost should have been.. Have a lead on some K05's and purchased the new project today. Get to pick it up on Friday.

Talked to the guys at precision today, and they set me up with a set of 58mm twins with an AR or .81

Should be looking for torque powerband around 2800. With my stall ratio that should be perfect. He predicted 725-750 rwhp and 850rwt on 265's. This is the upgraded precise bearings. He said I could go up to 61-62's and make 900+ easily at 5250 but torque would suffer below 3k due to the lag.

Def think I got what I want with this setup. Went will all Vband clamps.

lmao 700+HP!!! What the hell happened to just adding a little power for towing? You had us fooled

lol I am picturing you towing a horse trailer on nitrous with a full roll cage and helmet.

haha, well i thought I would just simply upgrade to a cheaper piston and rod......no such thing!

I have about 5k in the block and rotating assembly without the heads and timing components, so I am def in it for performance and longevity.

Those oliver parts are rated at 1500hp+ so for the 2k I spend on turbos will be justified. Lol its funny you talk about NO2, that will be connect to the fuel rail. It will be tested at Bristol Motor Speedway at Street Fights in August.

You wont have enough fuel to support 700+.
