Default My clutch pedal went soft

I just had the clutch replaced 1.5 years ago. My pedal had a lot of restistance then suddenly it went to the floor and I couldn't get it out of gear. It currently has a lot less restistance but it occasionally sinks to the floor and the clutch engages.

Ideas? Transmission shop says it could be the pressure plate but I think it is the hydraulics. A hardware problem would not be intermittent.

Master cylinder or slave cylinder most likely. Look for a leak by the clutch master or down by the slave. Also check the line from the mc to the sc.
