Should be fine then. Just make sure you have ample clearance over the counterweights(obviously you will do this lol). Take some pics along the way.

May be better off using a dremel going small sections at a time.

Every swap I've seen states this. The navi sump hits.

Well I dont have an extra f150 pan besides the one on my truck... may have to run to the junkyard. Can you confirm this is true? I hate going to the junkyard.

Basically the pick up tube doesnt line up with pan or something? Kind of weird how they are different.

Use the one that's on your truck when you swap it.

You will need a 98-99 4wd Navi pan, the stock F150 pan will work too, but you'll need a F150 pickup for it to be in the right spot in the pan.

Ok so what if I go buy a oil pick up tube for an 04 navigator, it should fit inside my 04 navi oil pan correct?

Is the navi oil pan too big for the truck or something? Just confused on how they are different.

Dont want this to hold me up so just gonna go to ford and spend the money on the right one.

The sump is deeper in the 03+ Navi pan, Along with having less clearance over the crossmemeber. You should be able to use a stock pickup and a stock 4wd F150 pan.
