You would need a mock up motor for angle differences. I think ones from a 4.6 cobra might work but would be close.

4x4dave or fordmotor do you guys know where I can find a Lightning Lower intake manifold. I'm not paying 600 bucks for one off ebay. I plan on using the lower and making my own upper to connect to the the 90mm throttle body.

Myfx4 did you already purchase your cams? Which did you go with?

If any of you guys need any of the parts im taking off let me know.

There's a seller on eBay named 32valvefords and he shot me a nice deal on the new one I had to buy. I paid 350. That's only the intake though, no cooler. I would also check the classifieds on svt performance forum.

Thanks ford. If I could get the midplate for a decent price i may do that.

However, a guy on lightningrodder is selling the complete setup, blower and all for 1100.

Just came across a deal for Manly forged H beams and -18 pistons for 899 through MMR. Seems like we are all going for quality, but seem to have all different routes. Def looking forward to seeing everyones progress and final product.

Super interested to see MyFX4Project N/A numbers... Should be a hoss from 1500 to 4k

I know you wont need the blower, but it looks like it was spun way too fast, it seems like the rotors are locked up and are mangled from the bottom view. Definitely get a 01+ manifold setup tho, 99-00 gaskets are impossible to find. Personally I'd look elsewhere or get a better price. I purchased a nearly complete setup for 700$, you can see exactly what i picked up for that money on pg1 of my build.

If you go that route, you'll definitely want the alt bracket and you'll need a lightning specific alt. I'm assuming your just wanting to use a L specific intake manifold and gain an intercooler for your TT setup. BTW the bolts are ridiculously expensive, so those are always a bonus.

/ end thread jack lol

Just need the manifold and midplate. Don't need cooler or blower. Making my own upper plenum and runners. So I can still maintain my factory alt position
