Haha you must not have been following this thread very closely. I picked up a 4v out of a 04 navi that had timing issues. There were broken plastic tensioner pieces in the oil pick up tube lol so I bought it to rebuild and replace everything. Its all disassembled and the reassembly process has begun but im stuck at what to do with my cams. Also thinking about a 5.0 intake instead of the stock navi intake but we'll see how much time and money I want to spend on that because it seems to be a lot of work.

Have you looked at the comp cams 106100? I may be headed in this direction but damn then I need springs but the range is 1200-5400 which isn't bad. Like I said before, it isn't a mustang but just wondering what you thought. Wonder if they'd work ok with the navi intake port/gasket matched and some headwork done. That's where I'm headed I think, just wondering what you thought?

I say go for it man. Im looking at comp cams as well but havent really made a decision on any. Youll definitely keep your torque with the navi intake it probably just wont make as much power up top.. and definitely wont look as cool

I really want to go with the boss intake or possibly the stock 5.0 intake with a relocated alternator and then use like an 80mm bbk throttle body. If I can frankens tein all the pieces together I think itll be a badass build that makes some badass numbers. Im a sucker for having one of a kind things.

The Navi intake will make a *** load of torque down low with Comp 106100's. I say go for it fordmotorsport Especially with 10.5:1. Now just have to find some long tubes.
