My 2001 F-150 Super Crew XLT Help Needed with Rocker Panels
Hey Guys I could really use some help with some work on my rocker panels. They are heavily damaged and I am looking at possibly replacing them myself this summer and I'm looking for advice before I get into it. I can post some pictures later on but the damage is heavy and on the bottom and the sides of the panels. So please help.

This guy explains how to prep primer, mostly with a palm sander, followed up with elbow grease. He's working on a 93, but that's not the point, -

This post is for others in the future. They make EVERY part of the Rocker for these trucks 99+.
For 97/98 3 doors they don't unfortunately, but there's a trick up my sleeves with acquiring the full Rocker drivers side. It's a little more pricey, but when you weigh out the extra work it would be in fabrication, it's well worth it. So if your going crazy searching for a full rocker on the 97/98, -post up and I'll explain how to accomplish this.

I'm interested in learning. I just assumed I could by the lower door skin, 99-03 rocker, and a cab corner.... then widdle away at it to make it fit.
Is that what your thinking is?

To make a total piece you have to combine. You need what they offer for 98 and also part of a 99-03/04 front/nose section.
Yea I didn't expect the question so soon, I was going to get my stuff out and show pics, but noooo, you had to ask before I had the chance lol.
I will eventually, it's easier to see what I mean all laid out, just before welding up.
