Default Muffler question

How difficult is it to swap a muffler? I don't have any prior exhaust experience but shouldn't be too hard. What do you guys recommend for mufflers. Something cheap preferably.

Depends on what you want out of your muffler.
Quiet? Loud? Easy to install? Price??

I wanted a little rumble to mine, so I dumped a duel output Thrush welded straight out the side.

Look into prices on the Thrush welded mufflers. Little rumble, louder as you open the throttle, but not loud at all at highway cruising speed.
And a lot less money than other brands.

I agree, thrush welded, its what i got. It has a decent rumble accelerating but quiets down at highway speeds

Trush welder is a nock off to the flowmaster 40 which sounds the same and for 48 instead of around 90 so good but its not to loud if i was you get trush turbo it has the mesh inside and will burn out a lil and should give you the sound you are wanting

yeah that would be a good bet. I have a Flowmaster 40 on right now w/ dual and it made a big difference. What about something like this if you are looking to stay single out.

pretty good price for a magna flow and will probably give you a little sound out of the deal.
