Muffler Advice
Today i paid off the rest i owed on my 98 F-150 XLT i have had it for about a month but my neighbor wouldnt give me the title till i paid it all off.
It needs some tlc but i want to get it sounding really nice tho i looked at glasspacks but i have hurd some kinda bad things about them. I know flowmasters are really nice but im 16 and dont wanna spend 200 on just the pipes. i was thinking about a cherry bomb extreme but i thought i would ask around before doing anything thanks for any answers.
This is my first post and i sure it wont be my last!

I've got a flowmaster super 10 on my 2000 ford f150 5.4. Sound great! Gives her a nice deep rumble. No drone whatsoever. It does pop a little bit when you rev it close to max revs and let off the gas real quick. But overall, great muffler. I'm also on a budget. I'm younger than you are haha. I looked at magnaflow and borla, but that stuff is expensive! Great quality and amazing sound but expensive. I just chopped the old muffler out and welded the new one in with some stainless steel pipe to make up the distance the old one took up. Look up some YouTube videos of different mufflers. There are some great videos on there that might just make up your mind for you! Good luck!

No point in 10 series, they cost way more then glasspacks for the same result. If you want loud pipes, get glasspacks. If you want legit exhaust that sounds good, get magnaflow. If you want cheap exhaust that isn't obnoxiously loud but still sounds alright go with a cheaper brand like thrush or cherry bomb (they make other mufflers besides glasspacks). Magnaflows sound the best though and last the longest.
Your cheapest option is replacing your stock muffler with a glasspack. Flowtech redhots are $20 each.
