Default Moist carpet

Was detailing my 03 Supercrew and the passenger side carpet is moist not wet but there is moisture in it. I've had a weathertech liner covering it And it's been rainy a lot lately and hot and cold it doesn't smell of antifreeze at all so it's not the heater core. I finally got the A/C fixed and the drain isn't hooked up ( PO broke the steering gear off the frame so the cab has been pulled and I'm pretty sure they didn't hook it back up. But it does leave water on the ground at the passenger side from the frame.

Update. Put the liner back in after carpet dried and was shop Vac'd very well it dewed this morning no rain. I pulled the kick panel off and felt under the carpet and it was a little wet. Then again the rocker on that side has a hole in it.. But it's mostly wet toward the center hump at the front.

So the moisture turned into standing water. ( most I've vacuumed out was about 1/4 of a red solo cup full ) and recently I didn't vacuum it for about 4 days. Driving it daily. Then I vacuumed it today. And about 3 drops of water came out. With some sand. So either parking on a incline made the water push the sand up and the sand drained into the floor un clogging the drain? I hope that is what happened. Because I REALLY don't feel like taking the dash out.

I replaced the heater core and had it all together and working again in 5 hours.

I did clean out the dust in my airbox and blew out the water drain with shop air as a preventative to blockages.
