02 4.6l, should be the exact same, yours will be a little bit lower on the other side

Not much of a gear head but i think with help from people such as your self ( thanks for the pic) and the code i'm going to advance auto to get i can narrow down the problem

Just an update . Code says cyl 4 mifire. Guess after 156k and not a nickle in i'll spring for new plugs and wires!!!

Uhh.. I'm pretty sure that's the Air Intake temp sensor, not the mass air..

lol sorry deersunlimited, its over a little more. rotate the cylinder, MAF should be on the side/bottom

o **** lol deffinatly was not thinking on that, cause i was looking at the pic n thinkin "im almost positive the sensor was a bit lower than that.." sorry cecil :/

youll need some tamper proof torx bits to get the MAF sensor out though, ttamper proof bits are like $20 you can clean it without taking it out though, just dont touch it with your finger, spray it down really good and dont worry about whiping it, the cleaner should evaporate.
