Oh good, there's more of you.

Still nothing helpful to share. All rigs have flaws and weak points. My truck runs and drives like a top, but the inside components are falling apart. Sounds like the week point to me. Go back and re-read my OP. I never whined about my old truck, just said I was unimpressed with the OEM part quality (and I am not looking to pay substantially more to get equal or lesser quality by buying OEM). I also did not cut down the manufacturer at any point in my posts. Please move on and try to do better.

Love RA, too. But, that's how I go my wrong motor. I'm thinking there's some variability in these truck. Maybe a part change mid model? That's why I came on here and asked. Seemed weird.

the supercrew doors are completely different and they probably sent you the wrong motor to a different cab.

Could be. I'm sure the automatic door locking feature doesn't help the actuators last forever.

Disable the automatic lock function- the instructions are in your owners manual or you can read it in one of the threads here. (but i cant remember which one) Regards, Bear.

Are you sure socket isn't in the box. Mine came with both in the box. I pulled the snap ring off switched and was good to go
