geez! that looks like 24 grit sandpaper! if you run your hand over it does it pull off all your skin? how scratch resistant is it? and skid resistant?

Herculiner looks great when fresh, but don't take very long to fade. It's a bunch of rubber pellets so it's real skid resistant and not terribly rough

It's great. There's a UV protectant you can roll over the top of it after it dries to keep it lookin super black

If you want a great looking and high quality result go with Al's Liner. You can use our air texture gun to texture the coating just the way you want it. It uses the same formulation as our professional Scorpion Coatings and is the most durable and long lasting (and fade resistant) DIY spray on liner on the market. We back it with a lifetime warranty. You can also custom color it with automotive paint tint. Plus we offer an abrasive Cup Brush that attaches to a drill to reduce surface prep time and effort. You can learn more at http://alsliner.com/alsliner

JonL, ill be interested in that here in approx 3-5 years from now when I graduatate college, get a house, some land and play toys. needless to say I will have lots of stuff covered in bedliner. I half thought about getting something like that so I can change my theme to a white out instead of stormtrooper

White out sounds pretty neat.

However, white is the only color I don't recommend trying to color match with Al's Liner. It tends to go offwhite/yellowish over time.

When it turns yellow you could always just put another light coat on it
