Im in the same boat as you. Im lookin for a 97-03 and want a 3" BL. so when you get it all done you should put up some pics!

The 97-98 must sit lower than the 99-03. I see guys on here lift there trucks the same as mine and have rubbing issues with 33's. I ran them at stock height with no rubbing. I also think the 99-03 look better. IMO. No offense to 97 and 98 owners they are still great trucks.

new question.... what are the best aftermarket shocks to run on the f150 for better off/on road performance if you just have a BL?

Bumpity Bump... shocks? also can 4wd be on at all times or is a part time system that cant be used where there is no slippage because it will bind up the diffs? thanks

I have ranchos and they are just fine for me but some people don't like them so just any quality brand will be fine for you.
As far as the 4wd you will just use it as needed...there really is no reason to use it all the time unless your in something like snow all the time.
