Location of the Coil Packs.

no. if you look along the fuel rail, you will see your COP. It will have two wires running to it with a plug. there is one bolt that holds the coil in place. remove bolt disconnect plug and it comes out. Some of them can be a PITA to get out. I use a 1/4 drive socket set with some extensions and i usually dont have a problem getting the bolt out.
BTW, I know I changed it to italic, but I dont know how. My finger missed the shift key and bam, its italic. There thats better

BTW, Where is the fuel rail...and what's a COP?
Sorry, I'm such a noobie with autos.

the COP is what youre calling coil pack. its the thing with the yellow sticker on it. the fuel rail is the tubes running above the COP. And yes, using an 8mm socket, unscrew and disconnect old COP and replace with new being sure to use dielectric grease in the boots.

Oh and what does dielectric grease in the boots mean?

This is what the COP will look like when its out. sorry I was in a hurry so I gave you a pic of all 8. Coil is the top, the boot is the long rubber sleeve coming from the coil

But I'm still confused, what do I do with the boots again? Put grease on them? Is it called dielectric grease? ...Do I just ask for dielectric grease or something? lol

Although my coils don't have the yellow top on it, I've located where they are. I'm headed to Auto Zone now to use their Loan a Tool service(Since I doubt I have the tools in my house). I'll report how it went later. If you don't hear from me again, I did something horribly wrong and the truck may have exploded..
