Yeah I just don't see the point in spending another $200-500 or whatever it would cost to upgrade when you've already just doubled your light output from before. I'm all about lights, but I've gotten 2 years of use out of my setup before upgrading bulbs now that one of them is about to stop working. The rest is just cosmetic stuff I wasn't able to do due to inexperience my first time around.

Yep. We're you doing that all on your own as you went before? As in you didn't know what you'd need to trim or anything at all? To make this write up

Yeah I had nothing to go off of as nobody had done the MH1's for these trucks before. I'd only ever seen 1 set of FXR's done and there wasn't any details on how he built them anyways.

Yeah, I am in the same boat. I rode in my brother in laws '03 Supercrew the other night and was really surprised how poor the stock lights are, although they are the stock fluted lenses that are kind of yellowed. I may give him my old Lightnings just to upgrade his old housings.
Even though Mini H1 are the basic bottom level projectors, they are way better than stock (still kind of wish I had done D2S though).

I am on HID planet almost daily too, but really have no desire to redo my retro (although I will admit I wish I had put some forground limiters in my housings). I am working on some H1 mini fog lights right now though.
Also deciding on what I want to do with my wife's Scion xB, I may be able to do a direct swap for RX350 bi-xenon, but need to find a wrecked one to take apart first to confirm (I am using some H11 3Five bulbs and Fastbrite ballasts in her halogen projectors for now).

That's why I talk my friends and family into retrofitting, so I can try new stuff on them lol but I'm going to be doing some stuff I've never seen done before(exactly the same) on 10th gen lights on mine.

What all are you changing up? I know you'll be doing shrouds and you got new bulbs, doing some sort of halo setup for the 10th gen too or what? Well, I guess I know you'll run some sort of halo but not sure exactly how and what else you might be doing.
