I'm going to need brake lines as well correct ?
Just pm me. You wont need new brake lines. But i recommend them. They onlt need to be about 3" longer.

About 500 bucks an inch.

I'm going to have to call them to see if I can upgrade the shocks possibly.

Yea, I have the E4OD/4R100 trans and this kit specifies it will work with that.

Another question, that I think I know the answer too. The kit specifies just a 4" lift for a Screw. I believe that's because the Screws have shorter bars correct ? Since the truck is a 98 SC it has the longer bars so with this same kit I can get more lift out of it. I may have to go with which ever height is best for factory pre-load. If that even makes a difference. I can figure that out when the time comes. So, just throwing down some thoughts with room for adjustment lol.
The TB is dictated by the factory transmission. 4r70's had shorter bars and e4od/4r100 had long bars. RC/SC get about an inch because less weight on the nose of the truck. The RCD kit comes with HD Bilsteins.

Default Lift Kits (suspension)...which one ?

This makes me wish I didnt have a body lift already. RCD seems like a really sound route.

Yea so far, going to require more research tho. I was looking for a quick way out with what to use lol. I not only want to lift it 4", I'm looking for better handling, better payload , IF all that's even possible. If I'm going to invest in this, I want to get all I can from it lol.

Using the 7700 springs and an adequate drop shackle out back should help a lot in the payload area.

When you say handling do you mean like cornering and slalom?

Yea, Carcrazy mentioned something about that, Wolvee has the 2200 lb spring set and likes them.

Was PM'ed this earlier from another user, -

Thanks btw.

Looks like a HD kit, but...

Yea, I have to put something together here...I'm getting fricken confused with all the but's and if's. Did I say that out loud? I mean doesn't anyone put a kit together that's all quality or offer up just a front end lift ?

By handling, I'm referring to ride cornering, steering response....A pleasure to drive this money pit.

If I have to piece a kit together, so be it, but I don't want to throw it away on a kit that I won't be using half the parts that came with. Anyway, that's going to take some more work looks like. That's alright, I tamed the 'Buy Now' button for now.

The Rancho kit is very nice. Has excellent ride qualities. I would still go with the RCD.

Yea, that's the one I think , the RCD. 4" drop and I get to keep the factory pre-load. The Rancho kit can be cranked up as well. So although they don't say, I assume 4" is factory pre-load.

Spent some time looking for Ford Realift TB re-locators without having any luck. The thinking here is now, if it's this difficult to find them, something must be wrong. They would be available if they worked for these trucks, - merchants will sell anything to make a buck and I can't even find them, so their out. Too bad, they would look badass on the truck with a freshly painted undercarriage lol.

Since GM TB's work on the Fords, why wouldn't the TB relocators work as well?

I'm not sure, but I can't nothing on it. Merchants that advertise or forums that talk about it. Carcrazy got me going on this, seems like a great idea. Wish I could get more info. I guess I could call the company that makes them, but how benefit would those be over what comes with the RCD kit ?

Yea, I think Carcrazy has GM bars ? I recall him mentioning that in the past.

Uhh, he can't hear me talking about him can he?
