How so??? If you say because the bolts broke, its because they bought he wrong ones. And rusted bolts, theres more rusted bolts on the suspension then there is body. Since when did you have ti remove the bed. It can be done with one person. Hell, cut all the damn bolts off, you need new ones anyway. Put a floor jack under the back of the bed, jack it up, put spacers in, drop bolts. People make it sound so complicated. And after a suspension lift, or any messing with suspension at all. Go spend $75 more bucks to get it aligned. And have fun with a different ride. Now, can anyone provide cold hard facts as to anything i said was completely wrong??? Anyone, anyone at all?

Body lifts are pointless its for highway looks no function body lift took 2.5 hours on a friends truck I did the install for and I did my 5 inch rcx suspension lift in 8 by myself on the floor no vehicle lifts 2 floor jacks stands and some blocks and elbow grease and loved it never will I do another body lift

Okay. Again. Body lifts do what now, allow clearance for larger tires, what do larger tires do? Give you ground clearance. You can lift a truck 20 miles into the sky but with 33's it still isnt going to do as much as a 3" body lift and 35's, its all about GROUND CLEARANCE FROM THE AXLE. Not the frame. Although it is nice because it keeps you from high centering with our longer trucks, like i have a couple times, but if you want bigger tires without spending thousands on a custom lift then body lifts are wonderful. Granted, when people do p!ss poor jobs they look like absolute ****. But thats where that addage comes in about doing it right. Now. Anyone else, other than saying they are stupid, can you provide facts??? Ignorance is a beautiful thing....

Me to. But again. People are ignorant, and refuse to read or research. I just turned 18. So i know where the OP is coming from when he wants the look and at a nice cost. Ive been reading about lifts and tires and performance parts for the past year ive had my truck. I cant stand when people do that, im trying to help. And my suggestion will save him hundreds, and it can be done in his garage easier than anything else. But to each his own. Have fun spending ridiculous money you either dont have or dont care cuz momma and daddy are hooking you up.

Ya 3 inch body lift gives you great clearance for 35s except for that little fact that oh wait you can hardly turn and have no better suspension travel next arguemnet I have had body lifts before and suspension lifts call me after you have actually run them both and seen the pros and cons of each. I hate kids that think they know everything because they read about some bs shiz on the web
