i have a 98 with a 4.6 and auto trans. To my knowledge, your trans learns your driving style and makes your shift points baised on your style.

The last owner had the trans rebuilt and has about 6000 on the rebuild. he must have drove like a old geezer because it doesnt run the gears like id want.

i had the battery disconected last week and that reset the trans shift setings. but after i think like 70 miles it goes back to its original settings.

How can i adjust it to my lead foot driving style, or make it learn my driving style?
