Default LED swap question

On superbrightleds they have an option to look at replacement Leds for your truck. These are different than the bulbs listed in the led swap the thread on the forum. So will what is listed on the website actually work or do I need to find the bulbs from the original thread?

Their site is accurate. Do a search of previous threads here, as many of us have done the entire truck, and others have swapped out a few. At least you're avoiding cheap LEDs, which fail quickly.

Don't get LEDs from super bright. They are over priced. Get Chinese from eBay. That what I have swapped into in 4 different. Vehicles any many of my friends have done it to there's. Haven't had one fail. Also the forum is right on sizes. But I would imagine so would super bright. Usually multiple sizes fit

+1 on superbright led's. Great quality. You get what you pay for. I've replaced many eBay/Amazon led bulbs with bulbs from superbright led's. Including ones in my cup holder and the bulbs that illuminate the dash cluster.

+1. I should have installed a zipper on the dash panels just to swap out cheap LEDs as many times as I have. Superbrights in for a year now, with no blowouts.

Side note: I attempted to replace my tail light bulbs with LEDs and went with the 3157 bulb as super bright says it is. Turns out it's a 3345 or something and it didn't work. Make sure to check which bulb you actually have before you swap.

Then you got the wrong bulb in the first place or done have factory tail light pigtails. The factory bulb is a 3157.

I wouldn't say go Chinese on led's, but you can find good ones on eBay. Just be sure to limit the search to us only. Ive done it that way on my last 3 vehicles and will be doing the same for this truck. I would suggest vled, but they are just excessively expensive now.
