Im planning on doing the round flush mount pop in LEDs for the bottom of my doors, then I wont have to worry about the stickyness falling off or anything.

I need to do all my cab lights in LEDs....yet to come in the future!

I just didn't want wires and stuff visible in the door pocket. The adhesive is still holding strong so far

Yeah, there's a good chance it's going to be a long project. I'll probably run the front doors when I get back from vacation and see about the back doors and map it out then.
