Default leather interior/ seat covers

I was just curious as to what yall guys with leather seats used to protect them. Is there some kind of lotion yall put on to keep them from being damaged? I'm thinking of just buying seat covers but I can't seem to find some that will fit my seats. I have a 97 lariat extended cab.

Mine were pretty bad and I got covers custom made from this place http://www.designcovers.com/. You can choose your own designs and colors to put on them and they were only $95 for the front bench!
