It may have been timing, but my windshield was fine until I started cranking up the subs. I know they shake the glass and right after I tuned my amp the windshield started leaking like crazy. My floor mat was completely soaked lol. Like I said,it could just be it happened to start leaking when I got them, but my guess is the seal wasn't strong and the subs vibrated it enough to pull it loose

There's two problems with the cabs, - yea leaky sunroof or leaky pillars. Sounds like you have the pillars problem. You have to pop off the window trim, blow it out with compressed air and re-seal.

Depending upon which type of seam sealer was used, hardening or no hardening, you may have to dig some out for prep. Non hardening is like a Butyl sealer and you can get it in many formulations. I suggest a 3M sealer meant just for what you want to do. Just use that 3M stuff.

I've seen instructions of how to remove the window trim and complete the fix, - can't recall where tho. I imagine you'll come across the info researching what you have been given so far.

BTW- I have to do this as well in the near future. That leak rusted holes in the inner corner of the cab...both sides of my truck.

Anyway that's what I took from a little bit of research so far. Ford has it's own sealers as well, but not easy to find and pricy. Reported success with 3M solutions.

Yea, I bet that's what happened. Cabs have some fairly major leak problems. I guess the worse cases are when the water comes in and dumps right over the GEM module...behind the fuse panel under the dash.

rideordieford , -

Here's a little more that might help. When I was researching, I came across the 3M windshield sealant for sale @ Amazon. With Amazon, people review the product and there was some mentions in there about the Ford Truck problems. Maybe the how to came from there as well.

Im determined on figuring it out tomorrow ill spray water on the windshield to see if its that and if its not ill put up a picture to show yall how the sunroof is sealed off
man I really wanna get this fixed sick of using a frickin bucket to catch the water all the time lol do you know know where the sun roof drain comes out at? And if you do do you think it could be done by just shooting some air up that way to maybe unclog it? Just wondering

Coming from the top of the pillar as said, to fix it correctly, you'll have to do more than that.

Read my post.

The stuff you'll have to prep for is called, -

3M Window-Weld.
Super Fast Urethane, Black, 10.5 Fl. Oz Cartridge.

Just a regular caulk tube type.
