Default Just wont start-97

Gotta a son in Hotlanta and I am in Indy. His truck is not starting and he called and explained that he has gas, car was running and just wont fire. I assume a fuel issue. i.e. pump/filter. Any suggestions I could pass on would be greatly appreciated. Is there a reset on the pump somewhere on the truck?
HELP!!!!!

in the cab of the truck on the passenger side right under the glove box, i think, there is a fuel shut off switch. its either on the right or left side(cant remember)under the glove box. he might have to pull a panel off i think. hope that helps

Thanks to those who tried. Wanted to let you all know Jr. was told it was crank shaft sensor and not fuel related at all. I know nothing about a crakshaft sensor or there cost but the bill was $150.00. Plus $75.00 for the tow bill.
