My old 33s arent far from kicking the bucket. Going to 315/75R16. Which do you guys think is the better tire? Im 2wd with a 6" lift 4.11 and a locker. Not into mudriding anymore. Just occaisional muddy feild or road during hunting fishing and dirtbike trips. I can get them for the same price give or take a few bucks.

Also keep in mind the toyos are the newish AT 2 "xtreme"

Never ran the Toyos but ive been pretty impressed with my terra grapplers so far. Look great, have a quiet ride on the highway and have performed great in the ridiculous amounts of snow we have gotten in Minnesota. Cant say how they are in mud, don't do a lot of mudding but ill test them when I get the chance.

Snow is one thing the Terra's do perform well on. However, mine were awful in light rain, mud, and I got about 25k out of them.

Arkansas4x4 is running the A/T II's on his and they look great on his truck in person and I think he's pretty happy with them so far. I'm looking at getting a set as well.

Yeah I read a lot of mixed reviews about them before I purchased, but my buddy/tire guy recommended them and gave me a great deal with free install and balance.(700$) They have just shy of 5,000 miles on them so cant comment on longevity yet. Havnt had any rain here yet either, no traction on wet roads or what?

What you running on your truck now?

Had my Nittos for five years now and still love them. Rain, ice, snow, mild mud, dirt roads they have done very well for me.

My tire dealer whos a good friend said that Nitto had messed with their tire formulas for their tires a couple years back and had some bad problems with a lot of sets, like very pre mature wearing and sidewall blowouts. He says they have since gone back to their old formula.

He went on and on for like 20 minutes about it, still not sure what he means by "tire formulas" just thought Id meintion it. I should ask him again when I see him Friday.
