1957 sike we were talking about it. he seen the marks and thats what he told me which i had already considered it just really didnt feel like the brakes were gripping but it was the truck not gripping lol

But the burninbt smell when i use 4wd could it be just cause im normally in mud and its like mud on the engine or exhaust pipes ( anything really hit) or is this a problem

Yeah haha. my grandpa bought a 2002 2 years ago with 24,000 original miles. Now it has 81k. Its a supercab 2wd with the 5.4. Its a Really good truck.

That is really cool. I'd love to find like a 98 or an 02 cummins 4x4 with 20k on it.

I think you're fine OP. I've experienced a 97 f150 hit 100 on pavement with the front axles unknowingly engaged (hate to admit this on here). Was not my f150, but a friend's apparently didn't disengage from the last time he used 4x4 lol We had smoke pour through the dash and were confused at the time, but 4x4 still operated fine after that incident.

I also hate to admit this,but I was doing about 45 and turned 4 hi on instead of the A/C.... I noticed right when I did it lol. I'm sure a lot of people have done that,at least I hope a lot of people have done that.
