So I got ATX AX186 Slot's off ebay for christmas, but I called my buddy at town fair tire to get them mounted and he said they can't unless I bought them there because if something was wrong with them then they would be responsible...

I've never heard that before.. is that true or are they just saying that so you buy from them? Where could I get them mounted?

that's weird... I mean I understand his point but I've never had a shop tell me that. I've bought many sets of wheels online and had local shops install them.

I would just call around and find another shop to do it

I've heard and seen it before. But there is always someone willing to do it. At the most they could just have you sign a waiver.

That's odd, go to Discount Tire... the only thing they might be worried about is scratching the wheel and they can't replace it and ruining it for you.. some shops should have a rubber piece to avoid scruffing your rims... Alot of shops will mount them, just look.

They look really good.. they are 18x6? and how much if you don't mind me asking? They look pretty badass...
