Default Instrument Cluster

I have a 98 f150. Today, the instrument cluster decided to stop working. The airbag light, seat belt light, and all the other lights work, it's just the gauges that are not working. I checked the fuses, all are fine. What else should I check? I was looking on this site, http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/19...lem-fixed.html and thought I might try checking that. Thanks for the help!

Default

Try doing a search on "disappearing odometer". Good info on why and how to fix it.

Default '97 instrument cluster not working

Hello, I'm replying on this thread, cause i couldnt figure out how to start a new one. Anyways, I have a 1997 F-150 XL V-6, 2 wheel drive, and my guages have quit working. I have replaced the instrument cluster twice. I have since taken my truck to a Ford dealership, and no-one can fix it or tell me what is wrong. When i turn on the key to start, my guages dont move, and i only get the battery light. Also, my airbag light blinks all of the time.
