Yeah that style doesn't require the mount to be removed.

Should finish up tomorrow, I decided to replace the motor mount since it was such a bit** to get off. And we'll no one has it in stock so it's gunna sit until tomorrow.

So far, just cleaning everything up and getting all the old oil off. Clean all the surfaces. Hoping my jack holds the engine without damaging it until tomorrow morning when the mount comes in :/

Is their anything wrong with the housing or just the gasket? I wonder if you could buy the housing that I posted a picture of and use it instead of the one you have.

I'm sure it was just the gasket, there was no oil above the housing only on and below it, the gasket kind fell apart when I took it off and the part that seals the oil ports was completely flat meaning the gasket was toast since it couldn't create a seal. I cleaned everything I could so if there is another leak I will see it but the leak was so bad before that as soon as I turned on the truck it started flowing out.

I'm sure I could but I need it up and running and I don't have time to try and mix and match the parts so it's just gunna go back the way it is. But with new seals. I took pictures of what I could do I'll do a "how to" when I'm all done.

Don't replace what's not broke understand that was just curious if you could, its not like you have to do that gasket every oil change.

Exactly, I thought about the same thing but everything looks to be oem so if it's made it this far I guess I could keep it going. I got 219k on the dash but I don't know the trucks history so that's where a this work comes to play.
