Default Insight on motor mounts

So I need to pull the driver side motor mount to be able to replace my oil filter housing gasket. Normally I'll just put a jack under the engine to support it on smaller cars like hondas but I've never attempted it on my truck before. I looked under there and there seems to be framing going across the under side of the engine directly across the oil pan. So it doesn't look like I can just slap the jack under there to support it. I also don't have a hoist. Any ideas? Insight before I try to tackle this job? ThNks

On my truck the oil filter housing has a remote line, it doesn't run to the front bumper like others, mine runs perallell with the engine through the motor mount and to the rear of the engine. It's one big cast iron piece. Not this exact one but it looks close to this

You got the 4.6, my buddy did one on his neighbors truck it had the radiator hose like that but wasn't long like that, that's very interesting

Yea it's not the same but it looks similar to it. Do you know what he needed to do to finish the job? Do I need to even pull the motor mount? Any insight would be great man. I'm really dreading this!

Crawled under neath it, took him about two hours from start to finish he didn't have to do anything with motor mount. Sounds like you do, try using a strong tree limb and a come along to pull it up a bit hopefully someone else has a better idea

Could swear someone just did this without removing the mount. I remember looking up the instructions1 for him and the instructions said to remove the mount but he didn't have to.

Yeah I can't find anything regarding it, and I tried posting about it but that went no where either so I'm just gunna try it. My problem now is supporting the engine in case I have to remove the mount. Since I can't get a for sure answer to it I need to prepare for the worst since I'll be draining coolant and almost half the oil. Child on has no info on it and I got some crummy service manual that's sapposed to ase certified and it tells me nothing regarding it either.
