Motorcraft COPs and Motorcraft Plugs are the best.

Well I should say on a stock engine Motorcraft plugs are the BEST. When going boosted and or Nitrous of course you would need a cooler plug. I ran NGK TR6s on my boosted 5.4L.

As for COPs you aren't going to get any better than Motorcraft COPs. There are 9sec Lightnings running Motorcraft COPs there should be no need for you to run anything other than Motorcraft. They last longer and provide the best performance.

Anything other than OEM ignition parts on these trucks is actually a step down, no matter what the advertisers say.

Ive heard about the brand Accel before just never used it. Also whats a good plug for a stock 5.4 engine. Thanks. Here's a link to the coils.

Accel doesn't even make their own COP ignition coils. They paint and sticker them, that's about it. There other ignition system parts are pretty good. Just the COP coils, -the cheapy single build mag china coils from that big barge sitting in the bay.

Do yourself a big favor, - (EVEN tho you may here different from the unknown haters on the net) stick with motorcraft as said. IF you want Great coils that are cheaper than accels, but just just as good as Motorcraft, - go with Visteons (the "made in Hugary" stamped/tagged) Those are built to Ford spec, just like the Motorcraft COP coils.

Pick theses up^^. You won't find a deal like that on MC's.

Stick with motor craft on the plugs too.

Stick with the MotorCraft plugs. They aren't much more expensive than the autolites. I can't remember what I got them for when I replaced all 8 but it couldn't have been too much at all.

Yep ,- Visteons or Motorcraft, these are exactly the same builds. The only difference is Visteons are more affordable, - IF you can find them. Suppliers tend to run out of them..more so for the 3valve's. - The 2 valve coils run low as well, - just not as often.

If you've been following coils,- Ford spec coils as long as I have then...Cheap half *** coils won't let that engine be all it can be. You won't realize the difference until you have a GOOD set of coils in there. ONLY trust those two above. Just investigate their track records from past users.

If you want to see just how bad Accel and all other China coils are, look them up as well.

These modulars need the correct ignition parts..Knockoffs may give you quite a bit of grief. Maybe not right away, but she won't be running at best forcing her to deal with crap products lol.

Be good to your engine.
