I need help with abs *** advise ***
Ok , so my son comes home from bowling in his 2000 ford f-150 and says theres something buzzing under the hood....even when the engine is off, and the abs light on the dash is on. So I look at him like he`s nuts 
and go out just to humor him...I lifted the hood and I find some kind of pump mounted on the right side wheel well just a buzzin like crazzy. I unplugged it to stop it and so it wont drain the battery. Ive got a hanes repair book , but theres not much info on abs components or how to trouble shoot. The truth is Im a plumber not a mechanic...but I am pretty good with general repairs. Is there any thing I can do or should I take it to my mechanic . Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks !! Ray
