Question Hypertech Programmer

Has anybody put a programmer on a 4.6 standard f150? If so what kind of gas mileage did you see hypertech says i will get 17 hp and 27 ftlbs and thats all nice and good but gas is about the cost of your firstborn child/gallon. Any help would be great.

I have the hypertech max energy tuner. I didn't notice much power gain and damn sure didn't dyno it. The power the claim is not max horsepower it maybe 17 horse at 2500 RPM but only 3 horse over stock at max horse power. I bought mine for the claimed mileage increase, I saw about 1.5 - 2 MPG increase.

you cant make any more power with a programmer or intake or throttle body spacer or any of that crap. it'll definately help with diesel but the only way your gonna notice any power increase in a gas burner is internal upgrades like cam and stuff. that programmer crap is a waste of money

that is incorrect. You will not make power with the wrong programmer.
