Here's a pic I also unhooked the exit line from the cooler and started the truck and let it run for a few seconds just to flush out that cooler too

Came out great! A lot of L/HD guys do this swap, some even go with the 6.0L cooler which is twice the size of the 7.3L cooler. Takes more work to get it to fit thou.

As I said before the tranny lines pass through the radiator first, then into the cooler. If you want the tranny to run even cooler, bypass the lines goin through the radiator. I did this in my 03. Bypassed radiator, installed a Factory Tech cooler with a 8" fan behind it. With a Lightning motor in the 03, in August towing a all steel car hauler with a stock, full weight Mustang in bumper to bumper traffic, turn 38"
tires, the tranny never got above 185*. The only issue with bypassing the radiator is that it takes much longer for the tranny to warm up. My 03 wouldn't go into OD until 100*, you could, when the tranny was under 100* hit the OD off button then turn it back on and the truck would shift into OD. I live in New Orleans so we barely see below 32* weather so I wasn't concerned with it being too cool. If you live were it gets very cold bypassing the radiator might not be for you.

Because I kept the tranny cool and clean I believe is the reason why with 125-130K on the tranny, 100K turning 38"s and 55Kish being supercharged is why it's still together and working great!

I would wrap something around the hose where it goes behind the grill support and touches on the bottom. You don't want that rubbing though.
