Bought it in August 2013 with 243,688 miles when I was 15 now I'm 16 and it has around 247,000 on it. ( odometer hasn't worked for a month or so ) got it for $6,000

I got my truck last year for $4500 and I'm more than double the OP's age. lol I had never had a truck before and honestly I didn't know if I'd even like it so I bought cheap. I love it and now I don't know how I got along without a truck.

When I got out of the military, I loaded up everything I owned in my 96 Mustang Convertible and drove around the country for 3 months visiting everyone I hadn't seen in 12 years till I landed in Michigan.

As a comparison, it just took 2 Uhaul trucks and 4 trips to get my wife & 2 year old kid to Virginia, lol. Times change.

I'm 60 and bought my 01 a couple of months ago for $7k. It had 111,000 miles and 113,000 now. The only things I've done is change the oil, replace the passenger door actuator and fix the odometer LCD.

18. 16 when I bought it,paid $7500 and including repairs and mods I guess over $20k? Not 100% sure. I know its taken at least $9k this year alone.
