Default How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?

Seen a post like this in the 04-08 section, and thought it would be pretty fun. I also seen a lot of young people there with nice new trucks so that lead to the second question, how much did you pay for your truck?

My parents were going to buy a vehicle for 3k for my brother and I to share, and we decided it would be a better idea to just give us 1.5k for us to buy our own vehicles. My truck was 5k, I had to barrow 300 from my parents, so I payed about 3200 up front, and 3500 in total. Then with all of the after market stuff in it I am pushing (including purchace) 13k I believe.

I am 16 years old (15 when I bought it)

I have put a lot of money in it for my age (and it is all payed off), here is how I broke it down:

Initial purchase: $5,000
Repairs: $3,897.74
Decoration: $4,301.02
Maintenance: $254.96

total $13,453.75

Please keep in mind this is just the papered expenses, I can gurantee you I spent more than $254.96 on maintenance, I just don't have all of my oil change, trans fluid flush, differential fluid flush etc. receipts.

How I bought it:

How it sits now:

Traded even swap for my 02 Ranger Edge. The Ranger was a grad present. I've had my 2003 since December of 2010. My age? Oh my, you rascals~ Asking me my age. How bold!

...I'm 22.

Truck is a 97, bought it when I was 14 for 400 dollars and 160,000 on the odo. Didn't run, had 3 busted windows, and in dire need of some tough love and care and body work. 4 years later and 18 now running strong and decently fast with 235k

I'm 18, I got my f150 roughly a year ago, took it on a trade, I have probably a max of 1500 in it, since I've had it only done required repairs minus blacking out the bottom of my truck, but I've done a water pump, starter, battery, lower rad hose, and a wheel bearing, but I know this truck will need pass side ball joints, so when I get around to doing it I'm going to replace tie rods and put some lift coils in it

I'm 23 got this truck towards the beginning of this year..... Did a trade and gave boot fer it.... Gave the extended cab truck and 1,500 boot.... Kept everything I had aftermarket that I wanted to keep off the extended cab and put on the crew cab. They both were pushing close to 300,000 miles on the od. Prolly had about 2,600 in the extended cab the way it set when I traded it for the crew cab.

I'm about to turn 20.. Wow that's weird to say. Anyway I got mine when I was 16. Put a lot time and money into this truck. Couple weeks after I got it: How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?-image-1983775879.jpg How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?-image-3393120547.jpg Here it is today: How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?-image-72429527.jpg How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?-image-1856699314.jpg How old are you, and how much did you pay for your truck?-image-3623942854.jpg
Oh yeah and paid $5,800. The truck got to the dealership within minutes of me being there. So they didn't have a price on it so the salesman came up with 5800 and I said hand me the keys
