Default Best dual exhaust setup?

I have a 2002 F150 with a knockoff flowmaster super 10 muffler and a hidden single exit pipe with no tip. For my birthday my uncle said he would have dual pipes put on for me. What is the best pipe exit and tip size for sound and looks. I know looks are just opinions but I would love to hear some ideas

For just sound and looks I would do a single borla or magnaflow, magnaflow y to 2.5 inch duals exiting at 45's dumped at the corner of the bumpers with 3.5 or 4 inch tips.

2, 12" Stacks directly in the center of the bed is the best!!!!

Anything else is sub par and makes you look like a dweeb.

We do sell a full cat-back system for the '02. The part number is the same for the 5.4L or the 4.6L.

That system doesn't exit at the corners of the bumpers, but you can also just get the 5"x8"x18" muffler from the system with custom piping to make that 45-degree turn toward the rear corners, where you can throw on the tips you want.

Either way, you'll get a nice, smooth and deep tone that's not too harsh. All of our cat-backs, mufflers, and exhaust tips are made in the U.S. out of 100 percent stainless steel. They're all mandrel bent and assembled with the highest quality workmanship and we still offer a lifetime warranty on those parts.

I like the lightning and 97' stock pipe look, where it dumps out the side, just in front of the rear passenger tire. I know the Gibson Supertruck exhaust system does this and sounds pretty good in my opinion.

Yeah I really like that look but the only problem is I don't want all the sound going out one side. Im choosing between that and running out the back 45 degrees at the corners of the bed

I had the Gibson Supertruck exhaust and it was like a NASCAR truck! Only problem I experienced with it was loss of bottom end, quite noticeable.

I bought a kit on eBay for under $200.00 shipped. It came with a Flowmaster 50 series single inlet muffler and 2 mandrel bent tailpipes that come out on each side of my tow hitch.

Since our trucks have a wide variety of wheelbases, they don't include an extension pipe from the cat to the muffler. I got a 3' piece of 2-1/2" pipe from a muffler shop for about $10.00.

I did the whole job in my garage on. Saturday afternoon. It took about 2 hours and I'm very pleased with the results.

My truck is my daily driver. I live close to work and don't put a ton of miles on it. I just didn't see the need to spend over $500.00 to put a custom exhaust on a 13 year old truck. My exhaust looks cool with dual stainless tips poking out from under the bumper and it sounds good running down the road. I don't need the sound of open pipes on my daily driver. Plus it's a pick up truck not a Musclecar. To me the guys running those huge stacks or having open pipes on their pickups are so hillbilly/redneck.
