How much hp does my 97 f150 4.6/5.4 v8 have?
I have a 97 f150 v8 and I want to know how much hp it has. I don't know much about engines but I'm baffled as to why my truck is the way it is, ill explain.. Someone told me it is a 4.6/5.4, but I don't exactly understand what this means. So how many hp does it have and what does the 4.6/5.4 v8 mean?

The 97 f150 came with 3 engine options.
The 4.2L V6
The 4.6L V8
and
The 5.4L V8
Who ever told you it was a 4.6/5.4 V8 was saying it was a v8 and he didn't know what the hell he was selling you/talking about.
The 4.2L V6
The 4.6L V8
and
The 5.4L V8
