So ive heard, Yukon gears are good to go with. And i know theres a lot more out there and may even be better. Go to randysringandpinion.com. If I were to change gears, I would find a Ring and Pinion, and go with a master install kit. It comes with everything you need minus oil and tools. Youre gonna wanna have a proffesional want to install it cuz there are a lot of variables as far as shimming goes. Overall with labor, I would have to say your looking at 15 to 2000 dollars.

see im gunna have to say i can deal with the not having alot of power cuz i drive slow anyways. i just dont see a point in dropping 3,000 on just gears and still have to buy tires. i got that $$ when i called up a few places and thats the quotes i got for front and rear 4.10 gears. i think if its not goin to completely f*** up my truck i'll just spend the 1300 on tires and thats it

You should be fine, nothing will break, but like I said in your other post youll lose 5.XX percent over the 35's, which really isnt noticible(I have run 33 with 3:30:1 gearing before in an inline 6, no problems). If you were trying to tow and haul all the time I may say get new gears. Youll be fine though, you truck will good too.
