Red 97 F150 XLT 4X4 Ext Cab 4.6 V8 290,000K or about 174,000 miles

Yeah, I change the oil and fluids.

Paint is awesome.

1 spot of rust on the chrome bumper, a little just starting ahead of the rear wheel well, and on the underside of the door itself.

I'd like to get a small sand blaster for the underside of vehicle then paint it.

Complaint: Tough on fuel

Default 99 F150 XLT SUPERCAB 4x4 5.4

I have 136,xxx plus the adder for running 33" tires. Have replaced three cops in the last year, had the balljoints replaced with moogs and all new tie rod ends pitman arm etc. done last week. All bushings replaced with energy suspension. I had to put new leafsprings on TODAY because I was rear ended Monday. Did it myself in three hours. Got good used ones for $75.00 and had a machine shop clean them after I did and press energy suspension bushings. Before this I put brakes on it once tune up , plugs at 98 k said my COPS were ok and thats about it other than Rancho 9600s and exhaust and some intake goodies. Pulled a 7k pound boat and trailer in its younger days and pulls a 19.6 CC and trailer no problem at all. I do love my truck!

Built FORD tough!

I just turned 120,000 last week on the 2002 4x4 coming back to Oregon from Yosemite Calif. pulling our 25' trailer! Ran great even into some REALLY stiff headwinds. Only failure so far has been two Coils on cyls 6 & 7 ...love the truck!

177.000 kilos on my 1999 f-150 5.4 xlt ext.cab 4x4 sport, running like a champ. I have had many f-150 trucks over the years this being the most recent, and i must say this 5.4 is by far the best engine ford has ever produced for these trucks. I have had 351, 302, 390 f-100. I know the spark plug change is a %$@#@ but other than that it is a strong engine as i have beaten on this thing hard and runs smooth. Just one spark plug change at about 100.000 and all the regular fluid changes. just minor problems rear window leak, swaybar bushings, everything else is factory orig.
