I had some grabbers hts's installed and they lasted a year, maybe like 12-15k miles. Took them to discount exactly a year later for a balance and they wouldn't touch them bc they were already at the wear marker. Perfect wear. No cupping or feathering or any uneven wear of any sort. No burnouts or tire spin at all since I couldn't get the rear tires to spin on concrete with my measly 4.6 and a limited slip.

50/50 highway/city. 100% concrete roads. Lol

Check how old is the tire. The most important thing to check before buying tires is the date of manufacture. Tire expire in 6 years.

Thanks for the input guys. Once these grabbers wear out I am going to try a higher quality LT tire again and see if I have better luck.

I have Grabber AT2's on my 98 Cherokee. 44k on them with plenty to go and they have been great. Liked them so much, I got a set for the F150

A 4six should at least sound like a little birdy at full thrust on concrete.

You probably need a new throttle cable. Just when you think the engine is getting tired, - try a new accelerator cable on these trucks. More than likley you'll get that new truck squeal back.

Yea these cables can really stretch that much.

I did the zip tie mod and it helped a bit. I could get them to chirp by just punching it but it didn't have enough power to overcome the brakes and the traction of the concrete combined. Now asphalt is a different story..I could floor it at 20 and it'd downshift and spin like a mother. Lol

Old truck, lots of miles. So I wait until it rains a little bit before I have that kind of fun lol.

I have a set of Nitto Trail Grapplers with 30k on them. That amazing for me because I am more than hard on my tires, down right abusive at times. They started out at 21/32 of tread and at 30k miles they still have 16/32, that's more than half. I only got 25k off my last set which were BFG TA/KO.

I rarely align. Like never unless fix something.

My first set bridgstone desert duelers 31x10.5 on toyota I got 105,000 miles.
Subsequent dueler ATs, got about 90,000

I got 60k per set of goodyear Wrangler TD lt265s on Z71 with severely worn ball joints. Tires would wear out on inner edge with 1/4 " tread left on outer. About same with Toyo ATs. Cost of additional set of tires was less than fixing ball joints on that truck.

On F150, 85K on first set bfg Ats lt28570r17 d range, second set with worn ball joints that needed fixing for most of tire life, 75K.

Currently have cooper AT3s with no noticeable wear at 11K.

Id say your doing something wrong if only get 30K out of good truck tires.
