Question How do you replace a 98 F150's power window motor?

I'm trying to remove the power window motor from my 1998 F150 and am having a hard time.
It's the first time and they used rivits to hold them in place. I was instructed to punch them out so I did. But the motor is still stuck to the inside of the door panel. So I tried to drill them out but to no avail.

Can anyone help me out there?

I had to help a buddy at work drill his... I'm surprised that didn't work for you.

I'll move this to 97-03 section so it will get more visibility. Good luck

It might be wedged between where it sits and the track bar for the window. If you punched and drilled the rivits and it still won't move see if you can get your hand on the back side of the window motor and make sure it isn't wedged between anything. Also make sure the window is all the way up and to insure it doesn't fall in the process use a small hose clamp on the track bar to keep it from falling. I haven't done this on a truck but have on a 93 and 01 stang. It's a pain but expensive when you pay someone to do it.
