Default How do you remove the...?

...Fuse box covers.

Am I missing something? The one under the hood is on tight, how am I supposed to get it off, it wont come out of the clip.

...Door panels.

I want to check out my speakers. Don't see how you are supposed to take the door panels off.

It's a '99 4x4 5.4. Thanks!

havent had my door panels off yet but from experiances on many other fords theres probably push pins all along the sides.take a screw driver and try and pry up the bottom a little bit and look in and see whats holding it. also probably a couple screws near the interior handle
as far as the fuse panel cover try using a screwdriver to work the clip from the bottom should just pop off

I can help you with the rear door panels on the supercab. Unscrew the pop out window mechanism. Take a flat screwdriver (some tape on it so you don't scratch or mar anything) and go under the upper panel, you should be able to see the clips and push on them to pop off the upper panel. Then there's a plastic rivet, 2 screws, and a nut that has to be removed on the top of the lower panel. After that lift up on the lower panel and then pull out.

Here's the front panels,

I remember the rear panels from a speaker installation guide but i can't remember where i saw it. For the plastic rivets i believe that if you pushed down on the center first and then wiggled it out you could get it without breaking it.

When you reinstall panels make sure that no wires are caught under panel clips. I had to search for a short in my left rear speaker. When the rear pillar trim was put on by ford the one panel clip caught a wire and rubbed through the insulation which in turn caused a short against the frame.

Thanks for the replies, and link.

For the fuse boxes I'm going to have to work at the one under the hood with a screwdriver like you said, but the one under the steering wheel is covered up... I need to get to fuse 25 to check it and it's under a black cover.

The fuse box under the hood has plastic clips that are against the inner fender, and hard to see. You should not need a screw driver.
