You sir, are a lucky man. I got a bit lucky with mine. Went to autozone, and they only had the singles at $30 a piece. I got 2, and he gave me 30% off due to them not having any pairs left.

For $60 they don't even give you high beams. Plus they blind oncoming traffic in a reflector housing... Retrofitting some projectors is the best way to go if you want HID's

I'm not sure if I'm just not blinding people or if people have just stopped flashing their brights at people. When I walk up to mine while they're on they're not blinding to me. Haven't heard from anyone in a small car though. I've got 35W 8000K's in heads and fogs.

The 8000K's are bluer so they don't glare as bad

Ahhhh makes sense. I kept other drivers in mind when I bought mine. That's why I didn't buy the 55W 4300K's or 6000Ks. (Seen different companies list different as their brightest)

I just ordered a set of the Bixenon HID's and they are low/high beam in one bulb. Work really good so far. Think they were $54 on ebay.

In one bulb though... Not both. The ones I've seen weren't much of a difference between high and low. Of course I am kind of a snob with my projector Retro's, but honestly compared to HID's in reflector housings they are miles ahead.

Most aftermarket 1 piece ones don't. Mine are lightning headlights retrofitted with Morimoto MH1 projectors.

Yes and no.... It all depends where you get the kit from.

I think i spent about 60$ on my kit from ddm tuning. I know a lot of SVT guys that have had good luck with this brand. This is my second set and it comes with low/hi. My first set was on my mustang and it lasted for over 2 years until i sold the vehicle. I also opted for the 35w, i've never had anyone flash me because my lights were to bright.
