What would you grease the slides with? I think mine are sticking and causing my brakes to hang up.

go to a autoparts store and have them set u up with the grease for brakes but i`ve used w/e i have around the house before and have no problems... but it have to b like paste not a spray or nething and check your calipers compress them in if they go in nice they`re good but if ones real hard thats your hanging up problem and also check your slides make sure they`re free!

Cheap pads will make a bit of noise and cause more brake dust. But they are right, if the caliper or slides are hanging up it will make them squeak as well as wear down faster.

a ceramic pad will make a squeal now and then (what on my truck now) but i hear a squeak now and then but nothing major.. its a harder pad... i usually run mid grade pads but there were warrantied for life soo i went with them.but the way your talking something needs to b cleaned and greased. thats what i`ve done in past and had nomore squeaks..

i had squeaks as well and it was becasue my pads were a little loose in the caliper. pull the pads and put Stop Squeal on the back of the pads. worked for me!
