Question How to change a heater core in 2002 F150

I have already purchased a heater core, and started taking out the dash, but I'm curious about something. Some of the searches I've done say that you only needs to take out the glove compartment and and some say you have to take out the whole dash. Also, what do I do about the refridgerant and coolant in the truck? Third, I'm stuck at the point where I cant get the dash off. The glove compartment is off and I have all the bolts and screws off the dash, but it still wont move! I'm leaving to go back to Texas bc my enlistment is over in 1 month. I need some help! PLEASE!!!

you can just tie the lines togather with a hose barb to get you to Texas, buy a 12 volt hair dryer for your defrost if you need it.

I'll tell you it's a bitch, Dealership wanted like $1200 took about 10 hours to do broke up between a few days, drop steering column, damn near remove entire dash, like I said, it's a bitch.
