to me it makes the truck look bigger. could just be the angle of the pic too. although i dont like white letters, it doesnt look bad.

The black wall accentuates the wheel. The white lettering distracts you from the wheel.

i bought a duplicolor hot tires paint pen from summit racing but it dried a brownish color (plus it was going to take a lot more than 1 pen at $10/pen) so i went over to walmart and bought a can of rustoleum flat white enamel for $8. i plan on doing a few more coats. it seems to be on there pretty good. the can doesnt even look like i used any. plus, if it gets scratched off from wheeling or something, i can touch it up really easily. the painting process was pretty tedeous but i like the end result. i guess its just a matter of personal preferance.
