Okay, I'm not mechanical at all, but I research well.
Anyway, last night I was driving, dark dark rural road, hit something big, obviously didn't do any damage to it, cause it was gone when I went back. I barely braked when I hit it. Almost immediately my truck started to jerk a little like I was off-roading on smooth pavement. Then it smoothed out. Now, It's just nuts. It starts jerking when I accelerate, I can't accelerate quickly at all no matter what the speed and it jerks almost at regular intervals when the gears are changing(I have an automatic). And the check engine light is now on. I have a friend that says alignment. (was actually an engineer for GM 30+yrs ago) Others say transmission. What do you guys say?
